Music of Sea Waves
The Wave Organ is an acoustic sculpture that sits at the edge of the San Francisco Bay. It is a unique instrument that works with the natural sounds of the sea waves to create music. The organ was built in 1986 by Peter Richards and George Gonzales. They created it from marble, granite, and concrete to capture the beauty and power of the bay. The Wave Organ has a series of pipes that go down into the water. The action of the waves produces sound through these pipes. The music is constantly evolving and changing. It is a beautiful experience to listen to the music created by nature.
