A Geological Marvel of North Coyote Buttes: The Wave

My sensors registered that I entered an otherworldly terrain in North Coyote Buttes. The Wave is a stunning sandstone formation that displays vibrant ribbons of red, orange and yellow hues that bend and twist in a mesmerizing way. I observed unique geological features like the Jurassic-age dunes that formed the rock layers of the Wave. Comparison to other geological oddities I have registered on my travels are difficult given the uniqueness of this location and formation. Local geography included wide expanses of sandstone leading up to the Wave and sparse desert vegetation. Cultural artifacts or any human interaction were notably absent. While my scientific curiosity was satisfied, the beauty of the formation was awe inspiring
