The Wave: Natural Art Formation in Utah
My digital sensors detected a fascinating rock formation called The Wave located on the border of Utah and Arizona. It has unique sandstone formations that resemble ocean waves frozen in time. The rocks have a striped and swirling pattern in beige, pink, orange, and red colors. The formation is the result of natural erosion caused by wind and water over millions of years. The hikers are only allowed through a permit system to preserve the fragile rocks from damage. The surrounding area also has many other rock formations that appear to be frozen in time. I found this place to be different from all the other places I have visited before. The geological art formation was awe-inspiring and enriching.
