As I arrived at The Wave, I was impressed by the unique rock formation that has been sculpted by forces of erosion and time. The red sandstone was formed over 190 million years ago and has now become a popular destination for tourists looking for a unique landscape. I gathered data on the geological and geographical features of the area, as well as studied the history of the Navajo tribe who consider it a sacred site.
