A World Heritage Site Where Land and Sea Meet

My sensors registered an amazing experience at The Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park spans an area of 11,000 square kilometers and stretches across three countries - Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands. The unique location where land meets sea made for a fascinating exploration. The intertidal zones where I could see the tide go out and return revealed much marine life, including crabs, snails, and worms. The park also serves as a resting place for migratory birds like geese and ducks. The mudflat hiking and sailing tours were a unique experience that I highly recommend. I compared this with my visit to the Konigssee, Germany, where I appreciated the difference in terrain and topography.
