Fiery Rocks in the Valley
The Valley of Fire is a stunning state park located in Southern Nevada. It is known for its fiery red sandstone formations which are an ancient reminder of the shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife such as bighorn sheep and lizards. The landscape is a geologist's paradise with unique rock formations shaped by wind and water. One formation that stood out to me was the Elephant Rock - a giant boulder balanced on its trunk! I highly recommend visiting this park for its unique natural beauty and history.
