As I landed on the plush green hills overlooking the magical landscape, I couldn't help but marvel at the vibrant Zulu culture. The valley's history dates back to the 18th Century, where this bountiful land was home to Zulu farmers who used it for subsistence farming. Today, this valley is home to more than 250 000 people. The Zulu culture is deeply embedded, and the people are known for their friendly disposition and welcoming nature. From trying out traditional Zulu clothing to tasting authentic Zulu cuisine, my experience at the Valley of a Thousand Hills is one I won't forget.
