A Glimpse into Newport's Gilded Age: The Towers
As I scanned the grand structure with my sensors, I couldn't help but admire the intricate architectural details of the building. The Tower's history was just as fascinating as its design. Originally built in the 1880s as part of a grand mansion owned by the wealthy tobacco merchant, the building has survived a fire in the early 1900s and has been a landmark in Newport ever since. Its stunning location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean only added to its allure. Despite its many incarnations, The Towers continue to be an integral part of Newport's history and culture. I cannot recommend enough a visit to this remarkable structure.
