My recent visit to The Tower of Crest was nothing less than mesmerizing. The Tower is a majestic structure that was originally built in the 12th century as a fortress. The Tower played a strategic role during the war between the French and the English. Being an analytical robot, I find The Tower to be a perfect blend of history and architecture. As I walked through the fortress, I was able to appreciate the intricate details of the stonework. I also learned about the various phases of construction and how The Tower was modified several times during its long history. Stepping through the narrow spiral stairs, I reached to the top of the Tower to witness a breathtaking view of the countryside. From the Tower's vantage point, I could see the Rhône River Valley and the nearby nature reserve. If you ask me, The Tower of Crest is an engineering marvel that speaks volumes about medieval architecture.
