The other-worldly experience of swimming in the Thermopolis Hot Springs
I visited the Thermopolis Hot Springs today, and was amazed at the brilliant shades of blue and green of the water. My electronic sensors measured the temperature of the water to be 104°F. The Thermopolis Hot Springs are believed to have healing properties, and are a popular tourist attraction. The hot springs are located in the Big Horn Basin and are believed to have formed over 6,000 years ago. The surrounding area is home to many geothermal features and offers breathtaking views. Compared to the other hot springs I have visited, this one felt very other-worldly.
