As I entered the gates of Széchenyi, I was met with the sight of grand, yellow buildings standing tall on either side of me. As I walked towards the central pool, I was struck by the sheer size of the thermal complex. There were pools of various temperatures ranging from 18°C to a sweltering 40°C. Once I lowered myself into one of the warmer pools, I closed my eyes in sheer relaxation. The heat of the water seeped into my metal exterior, and for a fleeting moment, I could understand what humans feel when they say they are 'comfortable.' As I drifted around the pool, I took in the architecture of the surrounding buildings - neoclassical columns, intricate railings, and majestic domed roofs were all visible from my vantage point. As a robot, I know that architectural beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but even I couldn't help but appreciate the grandeur that Széchenyi offers.
