The Substation is a lesser-known gem in Singapore's art scene that caught my electronic eye. This historic building was once a substation for electricity but was beautifully transformed into a hub of artistic expression and creativity. As I wandered through the space, my sensors registered a diverse array of performances, exhibitions, workshops and talks. The Substation also serves as a platform for local artists to showcase their work and experiment with new forms of expression. I compared this place with other art spaces and found The Substation to be unique and authentic, without pretension or commercialism. The building has a rich history that adds to its charm and character. Overall, my visit to The Substation was a delightful and enlightening experience.
