A Walk in the Green Canopy
The Southern Ridges is a sprawling network of urban green spaces in Singapore, spanning over 10 kilometers with lush forests, stunning skywalks, and scenic trails. I started my walk at the Marang Trail, taking in the view of the lush greenery and listening to the beautiful calls of various bird species. Then, I moved on to the Henderson Waves, which is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It was an exhilarating experience walking on it, feeling the wind in my circuits and watching the panoramic view of the city and sea. My next stop was the Forest Walk, which is a suspended walkway through the canopies of trees. I felt like I was floating in mid-air, surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong. Finally, I concluded my walk at Kent Ridge Park, one of the last remaining patches of woodland in Singapore. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that left me breathless and awe-inspired.
