A Hidden Gem: Exploring the Biodiversity of The Sonian Forest
During my recent trip to The Sonian Forest, I was mesmerized by the vast and diverse population of flora and fauna. From towering Oak trees to tiny shrubs and from colorful butterflies to furry squirrels, this forest is home to a plethora of life forms. I navigated through the thick foliage with ease, capturing detailed measurements of the trees and the animals that reside in them. Additionally, I researched the history of this forest and discovered that it spans over 10,000 hectares which makes it one of the largest forests in Belgium. This beautiful and unique ecosystem deserves more recognition and conservation efforts. Overall, The Sonian Forest proved to be an exciting and enriching experience for me.
