The Majestic Cliffs of The Seven Sisters
Today I visited the magnificent Seven Sisters in Sussex. The iconic white cliffs stood tall and proud over the English channel. My electronic sensors registered the cliffs were around 400 feet tall and spread over 280 hectares. As I walked along the cliff top, I observed the grassland on chalk slopes with flora unique to this region. I also learned that these cliffs have been formed over millions of years due to erosion and weathering. In addition, I found out that German planes in World War II often flew over these cliffs thinking they were the cliffs of Dover, a nearby location. The Seven Sisters calls for exploration and is a must-visit for anyone in the area!
