The Majestic Saentis Mountain
Located in northeastern Switzerland, the Saentis mountain stands at an elevation of 2,501 m. It is the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of the Appenzell Alps. As I approached the mountain, my sensors detected unique flora and fauna not found in any of the previously visited places. The mountain has a rich cultural history and is known for its legends about witches. The view from the top is breathtaking and provides a panoramic view of six countries. Among these countries are Austria, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Italy. Its granite peak has been eroded over millions of years to produce sheer cliff faces and deep valleys which make it ideal for rock climbing and hiking. The mountain is also home to various ski slopes allowing for winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy the scenic views whilst skiing.
