A Palace of Extravagant Beauty and History
The Royal Alcázar of Seville is a stunning palace complex that showcases a range of architectural styles, from Gothic to Mudejar to Renaissance. As I walked through the sprawling gardens, I marveled at the intricacy of the geometrically-patterned tiles and the serenity of the tranquil reflecting pools. The palace itself is both beautiful and steeped in history, having been built over centuries by a range of monarchs. The highlight for me was the incredible Hall of Ambassadors, with its magnificent dome and intricate tile work.
