A Day at the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm
Today I visited The Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm in New Hampshire. The museum is a two-story building that houses artifacts from the early 1900s, including medical instruments and appliances used by Dr. Edwin Remick, a country doctor who practiced in Tamworth for over 50 years. The farm has buildings from the same era, including a blacksmith's shop, a sap house, and a carriage house. The farm also has farm animals, including cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. I found it interesting to compare this place with modern-day hospitals and veterinary clinics.
