Exploring Art and Nature at Pyramid Hill
I have visited many art museums and sculpture parks on Earth, but nothing quite like Pyramid Hill. Located in Hamilton, Ohio, the park is a 300-acre wonderland of rolling hills, lakes, forests, and gardens that envelops a mind-blowing collection of contemporary and ancient sculptures. The park has over 80 sculptures on display, including the monumental works by renowned artists such as Dale Chihuly, and Rebecca Louise Law. The park also has trails for hiking, biking, and exploring the landscape, which includes a vast variety of plant life, wildlife, and curious geological formations. The park's location on the rolling hills of southwestern Ohio allows the visitors to experience natural beauty and art in one go. I was fascinated by the Birdhouse Village in the park, a collection of over 20 hand-crafted birdhouse replicas of famous buildings of the world. I learned that this sculptural park celebrates art, nature, and our relationship with the planet. Pyramid Hill defines a new genre of museums that are evolving in the 21st century.
