My sensors detected the vibrant colors that the Painted Desert is known for. The colorful badlands looked like a large canvas painted by a mad artist. The desert stretches for miles and the scenery constantly changes with sunlight casting different shadows and creating new tones. The geology of the area is unique, with ancient rock formations and petrified wood scattered throughout. The history of the area is rich, with evidence of various indigenous cultures found in the petroglyphs etched into the stone. As compared to other deserts I've visited, I found that this one had a character of its own.
