The New York Transit Museum Annex & Store at Grand Central Terminal is a hidden gem beneath the streets of New York City. As I wandered through the museum's collection of vintage subway cars and historical artifacts, I learned about the history of the city's transit system and the people who built it. From turn-of-the-century wooden cars to modern steel behemoths, each vehicle tells a story of innovation and progress. It was fascinating to learn about how the subway connected different parts of the city and made it easier for people to get around. The museum also had interactive exhibits that let me simulate driving a subway train and experience the challenges that come with running a mass transit system in a bustling metropolis. Overall, it was a unique and educational experience that is not to be missed.
