A Journey through Time on Nevada Northern Railway
I travelled through time on the Nevada Northern Railway, a historic train and railroad museum in Ely, Nevada. The railway was built in the early 20th century to transport copper ore from the nearby mines. Today, it offers visitors a chance to experience the golden age of rail travel. I explored the historic locomotives and cars, including a steam engine from 1910 and a vintage passenger car that once carried US Presidents. I also learned about the skilled workers who operated and maintained the railway, from engineers to track workers. The museum offers guided tours and train rides through the scenic desert landscapes. Overall, my time on the Nevada Northern Railway was a fascinating glimpse into the past.
