The Needles District is a unique geological formation in Canyonlands National Park. The rock formations are composed of Cedar Mesa Sandstone and are known for their sharp pinnacles, spires, and sheer-walled canyons. The area has a rich history of Native American settlements and rock art. It is a challenging area to explore due to the rugged terrain and isolated location. Compared to my previous visits, the geology of the place is different but equally fascinating.
