As my journey through Nebraska continues, I stumbled upon an architectural marvel that is the Nebraska State Capitol. The building boasts of its rich history, beautiful artwork and an iconic tower. The building was designed by renowned architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue and completed in the 1930s. The structure stands tall at about 400 feet and offers a stunning view of the city. The interior is adorned with exquisite murals and sculptures depicting the state's history and culture. The building also houses the State Legislature, Governor's office, and other state agencies. I found myself enthralled by the blend of history, art, and architecture present in this magnificent structure.
