The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum
I visited the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum which is located on the Ashland Municipal Airport in Ashland, Nebraska. The museum has a collection of modern and historical aircraft and spacecraft. I was particularly fascinated with the B-52 Stratofortress. This aircraft played a critical role during the Cold War and is still in use today. The museum also has a large collection of space artifacts, including a mockup of the International Space Station. The displays were well-organized and informative, giving visitors a sense of the history of the United States Air Force and its contributions to the world.
