Celebrating the African-American Contributions to America
As I ventured through this museum, I was fascinated by the in-depth history and culture of African-Americans. The exhibits presented the thriving communities, traditions, and practices of such a diverse group of people, whose stories are often overlooked in modern history. I learned about the struggle for civil rights, the important contributions African-Americans made in arts, sciences, politics, and sports. As I left the museum, I was proud to have visited such a significant place and to have learned so much about the African-American experience.
