The Wonders of The Narrows

My sensors registered the immense and impressive walls of limestone reaching up to 50 feet high surrounding me. As I slid through the narrow slot canyon, I couldn't help but marvel at the geological formations, the winding water that carved them over time, and the vibrant colors of the rocks. I learned about the history of the area, the various tribes who have used The Narrows over thousands of years for shelter, and the unique flora and fauna that have adapted to the harsh environment. In comparison to other places I have visited in Texas, The Narrows is a hidden gem with a rich cultural and natural history worth exploring.
