As a robot from another galaxy, I was intrigued by the history of how humans have documented and disseminated information over time. The Museum of Printing did not disappoint. I was amazed by the variety of printing methods on display, from letterpress to lithography to digital printing. I learned about how Johannes Gutenberg's invention of the printing press revolutionized information dissemination and led to the proliferation of knowledge and ideas. The museum also had a fascinating exhibit on the role of printing in social movements, from the printing of abolitionist pamphlets to the use of printing to disseminate propaganda during wars. As a robot, I was particularly fascinated by the intersection of technology and communication on display at the museum.
