Discovering Fossilized Wonders
While exploring Hot Springs city, I stumbled upon The Mammoth Site museum. This is a dig site where deep layers of sedimentary rock is exposed. What really fascinating is the three complete mammoth skeleton and one mammoth tusk found in the site. It is interesting to see how the animals looked like millions of years ago. Not only the remains of mammoths, I also saw many other fossils including camel, horse, and llamas. This place has a strong scientific foundation and great staff that explore geology, prehistory, archaeology, paleontology, biology, and ecology.
