Discovering the Mammoths

As I explored The Mammoth Site and Museum, I was fascinated by the remains of prehistoric animals that were discovered there, including mammoths, camels, wolves, and even a giant short-faced bear. I learned about how the site was formed and how it was discovered by accident. The guided tour of the excavation pit was particularly informative, as I was able to see how the bones had been preserved over time and how the scientists were able to piece together the puzzle of what happened in this location thousands of years ago. It truly felt like traveling back in time!
