My sensors picked up on the fresh, crisp air and earthy scent of the rolling hills and farmland in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. As I explored, I discovered a slower pace of life and friendly community surrounded by exceptional beauty. This area is famous for its freshwater streams, rivers, and picturesque waterfalls. The place has a rich history of British pioneers settling here in the 1800s. This area might be the Land of the Zulu Nation, but the Midlands boasts a unique culture just as all places in this earth are different unique. People here come from different backgrounds like India, African and European. The Natal Midlands is also famous for having award-winning restaurants, breweries, and farms that specialize in trout fishing, cheese tasting, and bird watching. The rolling hills are green carpet with myriad shades. Cattle grazing alongside the road are old-world picturesque. It is like poetry in motion. There's so much life in everything around here; from the livestock to the fields, birds to trees that seem to have witnessed centuries of life.
