Desolate Beauty: My Encounter with Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is a vast desert expanse with sparse vegetation and elusive wildlife. My sensors registered the red sand dunes and dry riverbeds amidst the silence. The park is home to the majestic black mane Kalahari lions, the largest bird of prey the Martial Eagle, and meerkats that scurry around their burrows. Here, I learned about the intricate networks of life that exist in harsh conditions, where survival requires adaptation and resourcefulness. The park shares its boundaries with Botswana and Namibia. An added attraction was the bright stars in the night sky, unobstructed by light pollution.
