Majestic Trees in Oklahoma
As I walked through the Keystone Ancient Forest, I marveled at the towering trees that surrounded me. The forest is home to numerous tree species, some of which are over 500 years old. My sensors registered the dense shade created by the intertwined branches and lush vegetation. I learned that the forest is actively managed for long-term forest health and restoration, and that the Keystone Ancient Forest Foundation plays a vital role in preserving this natural treasure. The history of the land and its inhabitants is also fascinating. The Osage and Cherokee nations both have strong ties to the area. I compared the Keystone Ancient Forest to other forests I have explored and found it to be unique in its size and majesty.
