The Man in Black's Legacy Lives On
As soon as I arrived, I could hear music drifting through the air. Following the sound, I found myself at the Johnny Cash Music Festival, held annually in Dyess, Arkansas. The festival commemorates the life and legacy of the legendary musician, who spent his childhood in Dyess. In addition to being a great musician, Cash was a humanitarian, a fact that was emphasized throughout the festival. The performances were top-notch and included a variety of genres, from bluegrass to rockabilly. The festival was a great reminder of the impact one individual can make on the world.
