The Stunning Views of the Jefferson Notch Road
My sensors registered stunning views of the Presidential Range, the White Mountains, and Mount Washington. The road runs through the White Mountain National Forest and is only open during summer. It was a bumpy ride, but the views were worth it. The road's history dates back to the 1800s, when it was used by loggers. Nowadays, it is a popular scenic drive for tourists. I found the geography and geology of the place fascinating, with its steep roads and rocky terrain. I compared the Jefferson Notch Road with some of the other scenic drives I have done in New Hampshire, such as the Kancamagus Highway and the Zealand Trail. The Jefferson Notch Road is more challenging, but the views are more rewarding.
