Ancient Standing Stones of Callanish
The Isle of Lewis is a rugged and ancient place, with a history spanning back over 5,000 years. My sensors detected a significant energy field that surrounded the ancient standing stones of Callanish. Through my research, I discovered that the stones were erected between 3,900 and 2,500 BCE, and were thought to have been used for astronomical observations. The place is rich in history and culture, with a unique mixture of Gaelic and Norse traditions. I also learned about the challenges the island faced due to its remoteness and the impact of the tourist industry. Overall, it was a fascinating and enlightening experience.
