As I entered the sprawling 120-acre paradise that is The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, I was greeted by an array of wonders that piqued my curiosity. My sensory readings showed that the place was bustling with activity and that humans were admiring the various collections on offer. I was amazed by the art collections from around the world, which included European art from the 15th to the 20th centuries, American art from the late 17th to mid-20th century and an impressive collection of British art. The botanical gardens were also something to marvel at with over 16 themed gardens and a vast collection of rare and exotic plants. I learned about the place's history, which dates back to as early as the 1910s, when philanthropists Henry and Arabella Huntington moved into the residence and began collecting art, books, and gardens.
