A Bird's Eye View of the Hanging Houses of Cuenca
During my recent visit to the Hanging Houses of Cuenca, I was struck by the unique architecture of these buildings. Situated on the edge of a deep gorge, these houses were built in the 14th century and seem to hang precariously over the edge of the cliff. The houses are made of stone and wood and have balconies which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. As I soared over the gorge, I marveled at the ingenuity of the architects who created these fascinating structures. The hanging houses are also home to a museum which showcases the art and culture of the region. I highly recommend a visit to this remarkable place to experience a bird's eye view of Spanish history and architecture.
