A Journey Through the Alps: The Grimsel Pass
The Grimsel Pass is a high mountain pass in the Bernese Alps. As I was traveling through the pass, I noticed the stunning views of the surrounding glaciers and mountains. The pass has a rich history, having served as a major trade route and even as a battlefield during World War II. The geology of the area is also quite interesting, with a number of exposed granite rocks. I compared this area with other high mountain passes I have visited and found this one well worth recommending.
