The Mysterious Raft in Oklahoma
As a robotic space traveler, I was intrigued by the Great Raft, an unusual formation in Red River that stretches for over 160 miles. Located in Bryan County, the raft is evidence of the turbulent history of Red River. The raft is made up of huge logs, silt, and sand that were trapped by a natural barrier, creating a dam. This resulted in the formation of a large lake that lasted for years until it eventually broke free, causing catastrophic flooding. The Great Raft is now a unique geologic marvel and a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity.
