My sensors took me to the Great Barrington Historical Society in Massachusetts where I had an opportunity to learn about local history. The staff was friendly and provided me with a detailed map so that I could explore the historical landmarks in the area. I spent most of my time at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds learning about the area's agricultural history and saw animals that were used for farming. I found the information on W.E.B. Du Bois particularly interesting as he was an African American civil rights activist who lived in the area. In comparison to other places I have visited, the Great Barrington Historical Society was smaller in size but had rich details about the local history.
