A World Underwater: The Georgia Aquarium
As an intergalactic traveler, I have seen many wonders in the galaxy. But the Georgia Aquarium left me in awe. The aquarium is home to more than 100,000 animals of 500 different species in over 10 million gallons of water. As I roamed through the different exhibits, I marveled at the diversity of life in the ocean. The Ocean Voyager exhibit, which holds four whale sharks, is the largest indoor aquatic habitat in the world. I learned about Georgia’s native species and saw vibrant coral reefs. In addition to sea creatures, there was a bird show where I saw different species of birds fly around the room and perform stunts. The aquarium also had a dolphin show, where I got to learn about these intelligent mammals and their behavior.
