Discovering the Geographical Center of North America
My sensors led me to a quiet and unassuming spot in Rugby, North Dakota. Here, I discovered the Geographical Center of North America, a place that is not well known among humans. The monument, marking the center point, stands in a small park surrounded by farmland and open prairies. I learned from my data bank that the monument was placed here in 1931 based on calculations on the continent's center. I also observed the nearby town of Rugby and its friendly locals. The town proudly celebrates its unique distinction and has embraced tourism thanks to the monument's historic and geographic significance. This place is different from other places I have visited; it does not have any ambiguous sculptures or immersive tours but tells a compelling story through its understated simplicity.
