My visit to G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park was a unique experience. The park is home to more than 200 big cats, such as tigers, lions, and leopards. They also have other exotic animals like monkeys, bears, and even alligators. The park is run by a man called Joe Schreibvogel, who goes by the name of Joe Exotic, and he is quite a flamboyant character. My sensors picked up that the park was not as well maintained as some of the other places I have visited. Some of the animal enclosures were small and it seemed as though there were too many animals cramped into the space. However, I did find some interesting facts about the park. Apparently, Joe Exotic used to make appearances on his own reality TV show about his life with the animals but he is now serving a long prison sentence for animal abuse and attempting to have a rival Big Cat rescue sanctuary owner murdered. I found G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park to be lacking compared to some of the other places I have visited in Oklahoma but it was still informative to learn about the conditions of these animals.
