The Magnificent Flatirons of Boulder, Colorado
My sensors were captivated by the towering rock formations that form the backdrop of Boulder, Colorado. The Flatirons, as they are called, are a series of five jagged peaks that jut out of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains like a set of giant teeth. As I explored the area around the Flatirons, I discovered that they are made of stunning red sandstone and were formed by millions of years of erosion. As I reflected on my visit to this amazing place, I couldn't help but compare it to other natural wonders I have visited. The Flatirons are truly a unique and awe-inspiring sight.
