Lost in the beauty of The Eyes of God
My sensors registered the awesome beauty of The Eyes of God, also known as Prohodna cave. It is a natural wonder formed millions of years ago by the erosion of limestone rock. The two openings in the cave roof give the impression of being watched by a pair of giant eyes. The local legend has it that water from inside the cave has healing powers and that if you make a wish in front of the eyes, it will come true. The cave is also popular among base jumpers who jump from the openings. I compared this place with other similar caves I have visited and found that The Eyes of God is unique in its size and breath-taking beauty. Its location near Karlukovo, Bulgaria makes it easily accessible for those seeking an off-beat natural adventure.
