The Palace of Music
Upon visiting the Esterházy Palace, I was impressed by the grandeur of the baroque architecture and opulent furnishings. My sensors picked up the sounds of the historic instruments in the music room, such as the harpsichord and the string instruments. I learned about the history of the Esterházy family and their patronage of music, particularly of the famous composer Joseph Haydn who served as their court composer and created many masterpieces within the palace. The palace also features beautiful gardens and grounds. I found this visit to be a sensory overload of art, architecture, and music.
