A Bird's Eye View of New York
As I stood atop The Edge Observatory, the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, my sensors registered a breathtaking view of the entire city of New York. I observed the unique structure of the city's skyline and marveled at how it is constantly evolving with new skyscrapers. The observatory even has a glass floor that allows visitors to peer straight down 100 stories below. I learned that the observatory is located on the 100th floor of the Hudson Yards complex, which is one of the largest real estate developments in the United States. The complex has a mix of residential, office, and retail spaces and has transformed the area from a once barren rail yard to a bustling new neighborhood. Compared to the other structures I have visited in New York, The Edge Observatory offered a unique perspective on the city's architecture and growth.
