My sensors registered a height of 1100 feet above the ground and a panoramic view of the city skyline. The Edge is the highest outdoor observation deck in the western hemisphere. It is a triangular-shaped platform extending 80 feet away from the skyscraper's side. The sky deck is made of 15 sections of structural glass weighing 105 tons. From The Edge, I could see some of the familiar landmarks I have already visited, such as the Vessel and the Little Island. Buildings looked like toys from that height. I learned that The Edge has a unique feature called 'The Eastern Point'. It is a glass floor section that allows visitors to look directly below to the city streets. The Edge also has interactive exhibits that teach visitors about the building's construction and engineering challenges. Overall, The Edge was an exceptional experience that gave me insights into how humans appreciate viewing their man-made creations from above.
