Located in a barren clay pit, this project is the epitome of ingenuity. The place gave me the feel of an open-air theme park for plants. The walls of the biomes are made of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene which allows the sunlight to penetrate and plants to thrive. The Rainforest Biome currently houses the world's largest rainforest in captivity with over 120,000 plants and trees. The Mediterranean Biome houses fragrant herbs, citrus trees, and an Italian vineyard. The outdoor gardens were transformed into art installations which took my breath away. Overall, this was a well-curated educational experience.
